After years of caring for patients in traditional medical settings, I became increasingly aware of how difficult it can be to provide thoughtful care when visits are rushed and communication is fragmented.I wanted the freedom to slow down, ask better questions, follow through, and build the kind of long-term relationships that make primary care more meaningful. SALT was created to make room for that — thoughtful, personalized medical care with fewer barriers and a clearer connection between patient and provider.

My approach to care is deeply personal, but it is grounded in more than two decades of hands-on clinical experience. Over the years, I have cared for patients in settings ranging from routine family medicine to complex, high-acuity care.

That breadth of experience continues to shape how I practice today: listen carefully, evaluate thoughtfully, communicate clearly, and consider the whole person—not simply the concern that brought them in.

I earned my Family Nurse Practitioner degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills, with advanced training in comprehensive care across the lifespan. That foundation supports a broad approach to prevention, acute concerns, chronic conditions, and the changing health needs that arise over time.

For more than two decades, I have served the local community as both a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner. That experience has given me a deep appreciation for continuity of care and the value of knowing a patient beyond a single visit, symptom, or diagnosis.

My background in emergency medicine, critical care, and intensive care included caring for patients with high-acuity and complex medical needs. Those years strengthened my clinical judgment, sharpened my assessment skills, and taught me to recognize when a concern requires closer attention or a higher level of care.

Sports Medicine Experience

7 YEARS caring for athletes of all ages

I also spent seven years specializing in sports medicine, caring for athletes and active individuals with a wide range of needs. That experience broadened my perspective on movement, recovery, function, and the importance of helping people remain active throughout their lives.
